Rambling Friday: Paris Attacks

I do apologize for not being on yesterday. Been sleeping a bit much lately, think the vacation has gone to my head or I am coming down with something. And I was just going to ramble when I started out this post today and I probably will a bit anyways. But tonight the world focuses on Paris, France where as many as 140 have been killed in a series of terrorists attacks. Several mass shootings and three bombings were the method of attack of these terrorists. Who seek to cripple us into submission with fear and make us bow to our feelings of hatred as well.
But we will not cower in fear and will not turn to hatred. We will pray for the victims and prepare to hold those accountable for these deed in whatever method may be necessary to prevent them from striking again. We will hug our loved ones closer and thank God that they were not hurt today. We will extend our hand in aid to our ally France. And to those who have done this the hand of Justice shall come looking for them harshly. This shall not be tolerated at all. You may be fighting a civil war and it may be how things are done in your country, but this is far from there. And it is not how we act or do things, so you will now pay a heavy price for your actions. And if you were sent so will your countrymen from where you came.
Paris will endure and rebuild. Though it will take time, but it shall happen. And it will be done with a flair only Paris could have. But Paris will not have to do it alone. People from all over the world will be willing to help when it comes time to rebuild from these attacks. If anything it may have to turn some help away. Terrorists will never learn that they cannot break the free world with fear. They can come close but they will never succeed. The best they can hope for is to do some physical damage and shake us up. But in the end freedom will persevere and the brave will hunt them down.
To those now in Paris I would say get to a friend or family member’s home and stay there while this is being sorted out. Don’t go near any of the sites for there may be additional dangers there. Stay indoors and hug a loved one. Contact family as soon as possible they are probably worried about you after all. And have some tea or coffee to help relax you. As for those of us on the outside. Call a family member just to tell them you love them. And if you could say a prayer for Paris even if you aren’t religious it is the thought that counts. If you can donate to a charity to help the victims and their families.
I think I have taken up enough of your time tonight. So as always leave questions and comments below. And if you want every post to go to your inbox enter your email in the box that says subscribe. As for me I am going to do some more writing though today won’t be a double post day since it seems inappropriate. I’m just going to go get a drink before I get back to writing. *Tips his hat and walks out the door towards the kitchen. *

  1. I must say... The writer in you has touched me. This is hard to do. i don't understand why people have to hurt each other and it is sad. My thoughts are with the people in Paris today.
